Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso praised Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich for their success in Europe this season.
“This high level in the Bundesliga means what we’ve been able to do is not easy,” Alonso told reporters.

“Yesterday they played as a team so congrats to them.”
Leverkusen is on an impressive unbeaten run of 48 games in all competitions this season.
