One Piece chapter 1090 will come out on August 21, 2023, in Japan, around midnight JST. The official English translation usually follows soon after.
The rest of the world will get to read the chapter on August 20, 2023. In North America, it should be available after 8 am PDT. Most of the chapters should be online within a few hours of the Japanese release.
The reason for this small change in the weekly schedule is probably the summer holidays in Japan this month. Obon, a national festival of honoring ancestors, will take place from August 13 to 16, 2023. This coincides with the usual release date of One Piece.
To respect the holidays, there will be no new chapter until the next week. Sadly, some websites have already leaked the spoilers ahead of time. So be careful on the internet if you want to avoid spoilers for now.
