Salah’s comments were deemed “daft” by Carragher.
The feud between Salah and Klopp occurred during the West Ham vs Liverpool match.
Salah did not start in Liverpool’s match against West Ham and was seen arguing with Klopp when he was substituted in.
Klopp downplayed the incident, but Salah later made comments to the media indicating otherwise.
Carragher urged fans not to take sides in the matter and emphasized that both Salah and Klopp are Liverpool legends.
He wrote on X:
“Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp are both Liverpool legends. We don’t need to take sides! Salah is frustrated and angry with Jurgen that he’s not playing and at that moment didn’t want to fully embrace the boss, Jurgen understandably took exception.
“Mo was daft with his comment in the mixed zone but let them sort it out and enjoy the last few weeks together. They’ve been a massive help to each other in all that’s been achieved at the club!”
Klopp’s farewell season at Liverpool has not gone as planned, with exits from FA Cup and Europa League.
There are chances that Salah may leave Liverpool this summer, with links to a move to Saudi Arabia.
Uncertainty remains about Salah’s future at Liverpool and whether the issues with Klopp will be resolved before the next match against Tottenham Hotspur.
