Stefano Pioli, the coach of AC Milan, has provided an explanation as to why Pulisic’s place in the team is secure.
Despite calls for Samuel Chukwueze, a Nigerian star, to receive more playing time, Pulisic’s position is not at risk.

Pulisic started 40 out of 46 games this season, while Chukwueze started only 13 out of 48.
Pioli explained that he prefers Pulisic over Chukwueze due to his current system and won’t play with four attacking players.
Pioli said:
“I liked Pulisic instead. Chukwueze is also fine but at the moment I won’t give up an extra midfielder to play with four attacking players and therefore Chukwuze is the one sacrificed the most at the moment.”
